Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about therapy, confidentiality, fees, online sessions, cancellations, and crisis support.

Starting Therapy

Simply reach out through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp. We will schedule a brief initial conversation to understand your needs and match you with a suitable therapist. There is no long waitlist and no pressure.
Therapy is different for everyone. Some people find what they need in a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over months or longer. We will discuss your goals and review progress together regularly.
The first session is about getting to know each other. Your therapist will ask about what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to gain. It is also a chance for you to see if the therapist feels like the right fit.
Most clients attend weekly or fortnightly sessions, especially in the beginning. This frequency helps build momentum and trust. As you progress, sessions may become less frequent.

Confidentiality

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential. We take your privacy seriously and follow all professional and legal standards. The only exceptions are if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if required by law.
No. Your therapist will not share information with anyone without your written consent. Notes are kept securely and are only accessible to your therapist. If you are attending through an organisational program, we only share anonymised attendance data with your consent.

Fees & Payment

Our fees vary depending on the therapist and type of session. Please contact us for current pricing. We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
We accept bank transfers, UPI, and other digital payment methods. Fees are typically paid per session or in a package as discussed.
We provide invoices that you can submit to your insurance provider. Please check with your insurer about mental health coverage and reimbursement policies.

Online Sessions

Online sessions are conducted via secure video conferencing. You will need a stable internet connection, a private space, and a device with a camera and microphone. We use encrypted platforms to ensure your privacy.
Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns. Many clients find it more convenient and accessible while still building a strong therapeutic connection.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be charged at the full rate. We understand that emergencies happen and handle them case by case.
Yes, you can reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. Contact your therapist directly or reach out to us and we will help find a new time that works.
